We live in a world of instants and building muscle quickly is no exception. We can get fast food in a matter of seconds, download a new movie in minutes and do our shopping online. Why cant we build muscle that quickly?
Changing the way your body looks is not going to happen over night in fact it takes months of hard word and persistence.
Unfortunately there is no magic pill or workout (although some adverts say otherwise) there is however better ways of building muscle quickly then others and I will show you a muscle building plan that helped me gain muscle and burn fat in just 12 weeks.
Here are a few tips you can follow to help in building muscle mass.
Choose A Program Suited For Your Goal
There are many different training programs out there. If your goal is to building muscle quickly then you wouldn’t want to follow a workout consisting of just bodyweight movements etc.
Pick a routine that other people of similar body type have had good results with.
This is the routine I used during my 12 week transformation program.
Be Consistent
Stop changing your program every other day. Find a program you want to use and follow it. This is the only way that you know if its working or not. You should aim to give each program about 6 weeks to produce results. If you are finding you have wasted 6 weeks then find a new one. If you are continuing to gain muscle then stick with it until your gains stop.
Be Realistic
Don’t expect to look like the hulk overnight. Building muscle is hard. You should be aiming to increase your lean weight by around 1-2lbs per week. Believe it or not this is building muscle quickly. Any more weight then that is likely to be fat.
Stop making Excuses
Its easy not to train and come up with lame excuses. Don’t. Consistancy is the way forward for building muscle quickly. Missing meals and workouts will harm your gains.
Eat More Food
Believe it or not this is a common building muscle quickly mistake. To build muscle quickly you need to supply your body will excess calories so that it has the fuel it needs to build muscle.
